Wake up your old game.
Reveille gets you back into MOHAA multiplayer: find active servers, get missing maps, and join.
Why Reveille exists
The in-game browser went dark with GameSpy. The community kept the game alive, but the way back in got long.

Pick a serverJoin
What it does
Engine setup, the server list, missing maps and the launch, in one window.
Busy servers come first, with how full each one is, its ping and whether it is full. Filter by mode or ping, or show only servers you can join right now without downloading anything.
Watch a server and choose how many players make it worth joining. Reveille notifies you when they arrive, and can keep watching from the notification area after you close the window.
Reveille compares your game with the map running now and the server's map list, then shows what is missing and how big the download is.
Reveille finds matching packages on moh-db, checks each archive and puts it where the game loads it. If several files could match, you choose.
Keep the Original game or choose OpenMoHAA or Reborn. Reveille installs the supported build when needed, remembers your choice and starts it on the server you picked.
Favorites, History of the servers you played, and a shortcut for everything: Enter to join, F to favorite, W to watch, ? for the full list.
How it works
Reveille works with the game files you own. It does not include EA game data.
From disc, EA App or GOG.
It finds your game and sets up the engine you choose.
See who is playing where.
Reveille gets the missing maps and starts the game.
Works with
Reveille does not replace any of these. It connects them, so a player gets from “I want to play” to “I’m in a server” without stitching them together by hand.
Each has its own server list, and maps go to the folder that game reads.
The open-source engine. Reveille installs the current supported build.
The community patch for the original game, installed on request.
The custom map archive Reveille searches for what a server runs.
Run a server?
A missing custom map is an easy way to lose a new player. Reveille reads what your server already publishes and fetches the maps before it connects them.
Set sv_maplist to your full rotation. Reveille checks every map in it, not only the one running now, so a map change does not leave new players behind.
If your maps are on moh-db under the names your server uses, Reveille can match and install them.
Servers that publish a PakRadar list through pr_downloads can hand players their own files. Reveille checks each one against its published checksum.
Field notes
No. You need a legitimate Allied Assault installation. Reveille identifies and works with your existing game files; it never redistributes EA assets.
No. Keep the Original game or install OpenMoHAA or Reborn from Reveille. It gets the current supported package, checks that the download arrived intact and remembers which engine to launch.
From moh-db.com, or from the server itself when it publishes its own download list. Reveille installs an exact match when you approve the download, asks you when several files could fit, and says when no download is listed.
The server answered just now and you already have the map it is running, so there is nothing to download. Reveille starts the game with the server’s address; the server still decides whether you get in, for example when it is full or has a ping limit.
Watch a server and pick how many players you want. While Reveille is open, or waiting in the notification area if you turn that on in Settings, it checks the server and sends a Windows notification when enough players are on.
The Reveille installer is per-user and does not need Administrator rights. Writing maps into some protected retail game folders can still be blocked by Windows; Reveille reports that instead of raising a surprise UAC prompt.
The current release is not code-signed, so Windows names no publisher and SmartScreen may hold the download. The release page publishes the installer’s SHA-256 for checking download integrity.
Reveille sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, such as whether a join worked, so we can see where new players get stuck. You can turn this off at any time in Settings. It never sends your player name, game folder, server passwords, CD key or computer name. The README lists every event.
Yes. Reveille is free and licensed GPL-3.0-only. The source, issue tracker and release history are public on GitHub.
